The graduate program Helmholtz Einstein International Research School in Data Science (HEIBRiDS) has announced eight additional fellowships for PhD students.
HEIBRiDS offers a collaborative research environment across disciplinary boundaries, therefore the dissertation projects are also more interdisciplinary in nature. The goal is to combine Data Science with applications in the research areas of medicine, systems biology, energy storage, geophysics, and astronomy. The topics belong to one or more of the following areas: Data management, Deep Learning, Mathematical Modeling, Novel Tools and Algorithms. HEIBRiDS offers PhD students cutting-edge research in Data Science under close supervision of scientific mentors and a PhD committee, a 4-year funded fellowship and integrated scientific and professional skills training curriculum taught in English, financial support for conferences and collaborations, and institutions that value diversity and foster an inclusive work environment.
