Digital self-determination in the media society

The Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF) and the Media Innovation Center Babelsberg (MIZ) cordially invite you to "#tobediscussed: Digital Self-Determination in the Media Society" on 20 June 2019 at 18:30 hrs at the Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF).

Utopia or dystopia - what kind of media society is in store for us? The current debate about the loss of confidence in the face of filter bubbles and fake news calls into question the current structures of a diverse media landscape. How can technological, design-theoretical and media-critical approaches contribute to strengthening self-determined and informed media use? Two digital experts from different perspectives will address these questions, on the topic of digital self-determination in the media society, in two keynotes at #tobediscussed.

Prof. Dr. Maximilian von Grafenstein, professor at the Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF) for "Digital Self-Determination" and Stephan Dörner, tech journalist and online editor-in-chief of the magazine t3n - digital pioneers. In the subsequent talk, the two digital experts will talk to moderator Vivian Upmann about the challenges of digitization in the media society.
