ECDF board member Gesche Joost was elected as a member of the Goethe-Institut's Presidium at the end of November. The term of office of the new Presidium is four years and begins on January 1, 2022.

Joost has already been an honorary member of the Goethe-Institut since 2014. The tasks of the presidium include passing resolutions on the guidelines for the institute's work as well as long-term conceptual planning. "I am very much looking forward to working together on the presidium and would particularly like to advance the topics of sustainability and digitization in the international cultural dialogue," explains the professor of design research.
