Webinar: "How the Human Brain Project is Enabling Clinical Research for Dementia"

The Human Brain Project has launched a webinar series that focuses on the various topics being worked on by the HBP scientific community. The one-hour sessions will focus on different areas of brain research that will be discussed by subject matter experts. The goal is to showcase the scientific achievements of the HBP and the state-of-the-art services provided by the new brain research infrastructure, EBRAINS.

The next episode will be a special episode on Alzheimer's disease and will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Petra Ritter, Head of the Brain Simulation Section at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and PI at ECDF. Other HBP researchers participating in the webinar:

Leon Stefanovski (Charité Berlin), who will give the presentation "Brain simulation to improve classification in Alzheimer's dementia and in silico drug testing"
Jil Mona Meier (Charité Berlin) with the presentation "In silico deep brain stimulation to improve patient outcomes in Parkinson's dementia".
Michael Schirner (Charité Berlin) will present "Multiscale brain network modeling to infer principles of cognitive brain function."
