Smart Water – Sustainable Water Visions Roundtable

On March 22, 2022, Resideo and the Italian University Poli.design invite you to the second edition of "Smart Water. Sustainable Water Visions." The digital event will bring together international guests and experts. The theme is improving the use of water in the residential sector.

Under the title "Smart Water. Sustainable Water Visions," the roundtable conference focuses on the issue of sustainability in the management of water resources. Among the international experts is ECDF Professor Andrea Cominola, Professor of Smart Water Networks at TU Berlin. He will speak about the adoption of digital technologies in the water sector and how they can improve the management of water supply and demand.

The event will be held online in English at 3:30 p.m. on March 22. Journalist and writer Fabio Deotto will moderate the event. There is no charge to attend.

Experts: 

Piet Dircke, Global Director for Climate Adaptation at Arcadis. Piet Dircke will talk about the importance of resilience in cities and present international case studies.

Renzo Rosso, Professor of Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA) at Politecnico di Milano, analyzes new challenges in water cycle management.

Andrea Cominola, Assistant Professor of Smart Water Networks at ECDF and the Technical University of Berlin, talks about the introduction of digital technologies in the water sector and how they can improve the management of water supply and demand.

Mauricio Cardenas, architect and founder of Studio Cardenas Conscious Design, will report on the use of and experimentation with natural materials in some microarchitectures. The topic will also be the use of water as a functional element in the home.

To conclude the event, Erin Woodward, Global Sustainability Leader of Resideo, will explain Resideo's approach to sustainability.
