Networking event: Digital innovation in the health sector

The Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF) is represented twice at the networking event "Digital Innovation in the Health Sector" taking place on 28 January

The event, organised by Gemeinsam digital, is dedicated to the question of how new infrastructures can be created for a healthy and self-determined life. In this context, experts from science, politics and business will discuss the performance of digital innovation in the health sector in terms of sustainable prevention, early detection and efficient care. What role do new technologies play in improving the long-term health of the entire population? The keynote address will be given by ECDF Principal Investigator Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Schildhauer, founding initiator of the Digital Urban Center for Aging and Health (DUCAH) initiated by the ECDF together with the Foundation for Internet and Society and the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG). The subsequent panel discussion will feature ECDF Associate Prof. Dr. Daniel Fürstenau (Copenhagen Business School, previously ECDF Professor of Digital Transformation and IT Infrastructures) as an invited expert.

The online event promotes the networking of relevant stakeholder groups from business, science and the health sector. As an informative platform, it serves participants and especially start-ups as an entry point for a longer-term and joint dialogue.

Start of the event: 6 p.m.
