On May 10, 2025, the education conference "Beyond Education" will take place at the ECDF. The conference brings young people between the ages 14 and 24 together with experts from the education world. The goal is for everyone to contribute, exchange ideas, and set impulses for the future of education.
Key points of the conference:
Interactive event whose outcomes will contribute to the federal OER strategy.
Target audience: young people who recognize problems in the education system, have ideas, and want to actively shape the future.
The goal of the event is to co-develop and implement innovative educational approaches in the future.
The following questions will be addressed in four thematic areas:
Information World & Digital Self-Determination – Who controls our data, and what alternative platforms offer more freedom?
Education & Social Inequality – How do financial and technical barriers affect access to education, and what solidarity-based solutions exist?
Self-Determined Learning – How can self-directed learning concepts foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking?
Inclusive Education – What barriers exist in schools and everyday life, and how can we reduce discrimination?
