The digital future of Europe has taken a long time to arrive. By 2026, at the latest, it will become a tangible and binding reality in all 27 EU member states with the European Health Data Space (EHDS) as the first domain-specific substantiation. Initially in the area of health, other domains will follow. This development offers great opportunities, but also challenges, for science, startups, companies, society, and politicians. These and other points will be looked at during the event “The digital future of Europe in Berlin: Excellent health data for science, companies, and startups”. The event will take place on February 21, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The fact that the EU is choosing health as its first domain is a great opportunity given the excellent conditions of Berlin as an ecosystem of excellent science, innovative companies, and digital health startups.
