The Team of Berit Greinke would like to invite you to a virtual talk about the ongoing project 'Pleated Electronic Textiles' on December 10, 2020.

As part of the project, ECDF-Prof. Berit Greinke and the Wearable Computing team at Berlin University of the Arts/ Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF) are working together with four textile and fashion design researchers developing folded electronic textiles. Focusing on knitted, woven, pleated and polymerised textiles, they explore material aesthetics, sensor layouts, mechanical motion and scale of folds, taking advantage of and pushing capabilities of each of the techniques.

The Folding Residency took place between 21 September – 16 October in the workshop spaces at Strasse des 17. Juni 118 and Berlin Open Lab.
