To mark the beginning of the new legislative period, the Society for Civil Rights (GFF) warmly invites you to a discussion event followed by a networking evening on June 5, 2025. Together, we want to explore how access to knowledge and culture in the digital realm can be strengthened and what opportunities the new Bundestag has to support this. We aim to find answers with you to the following questions: What opportunities exist to promote participation in culture and knowledge? What potential does copyright law offer? How can knowledge institutions such as libraries and museums be supported through digital transformation?
As a civil society organization, the GFF advocates for the expansion of digital cultural offerings, open access, the public domain, and free access to knowledge. The goal of the evening is to engage in conversation, build connections, and spark new ideas for improving access to knowledge and culture in the digital age.
